Hey there deviant artists!
Like comic books? I’m part of a small, well defined, creative team who is searching for an artist (preferable one who has some style, consistency, needs cash, and likes superheroes). Our group is designing a pitch graphic novel (as a prototype issue). The success of this issue is crucial to further develop the product and to entice investors so it is vital that we have only the best working for us.
What do we need to see? Please do not link your gallery below. What we would like however is a character sketch. There is no need to clean it up digitally or spend to much time on it, just something that can show us you’re valuable ( there will be someone to cleanup your art, digitally enhance your art ect.)
We have a background artist so this is strictly for character drawing.
In our gallery you can see the main character known as Battle Beetle, a lot of over looked details are found in our scrapbook. We need one picture of this character, drawn from any angle, in any position. Your submission will be judged on style, along with how close you followed the models details. This is crucial considering this character will need to be redrawn many times over.
If everything’s good and ready, and you win and are selected as the comic book artist you’ll be on your way to getting paid per picture of art. Max 60$ a page (only sketches of characters). The book itself will be around 70 pages (could be more), and it’s going to be a hell of a process.
This could be the start of a very wealthy turn of events.
A due date will be assigned depending on how many entries are received. This is usually a month is the success is high, and 3 if its low, 2 if it’s a steady flow.
